Honorary members

Honorary membership in the Association of Graduates is awarded to persons who have rendered outstanding and conspicuous service to the Air Force and/or the Air Force Academy. We are incredibly grateful and inspired by these individuals. While they may not be graduates of the Academy, they have acted and continue to act with service and integrity to better USAFA cadets, the institution and the Long Blue Line.
To become an honorary member, individuals must be recommended by a member of the Association of Graduates board of directors and receive a minimum of 80% approval by all members present at a quorum of the board. Currently, honorary membership is restricted to 25 living persons. Although honorary members do not pay dues, they are eligible for all the benefits accruing to membership.
