Candidacy Statement
The Nominating Committee has identified “courage to dissent” as a desired leadership attribute of those seeking election to the board. In this thing, I have respectfully established my credentials during the past several years.
In 2021, while in command in the Space Force, I published what became a bestselling book titled Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military. It was a public criticism of Marxist ideology, critical race theory (CRT), and the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) industry and agenda; it also championed the greatness of the American ideal. I was fired for writing and speaking about the book—a book that is truly nonpartisan in nature. I separated honorably and without my pension after over 15 years of active duty service, and was later informed an IG investigation concluded I was not guilty of wrongdoing.
USAFA shaped and molded me into a man that believes that integrity, service, and excellence in defense of our Constitution (against all enemies!) are worth living, fighting, and dying for. I’d like to serve and represent the AOG community in a way they’ll respect and allow USAFA to remain among the most trusted academic institutions in the country.
