Biography
I am excited to have a chance to continue to serve USAFA. I retired after 24 years of active duty as a pilot and staff officer. I currently am the Director of Safety for Hanscom AFB and have been an AF civilian for the last 13 years. I was an Admissions Liaison Officer for 10 years. I founded the Blue Chile AOG Chapter and served as President for 3 years. In Tampa, I was chapter President/Vice President for two- and one-half years. I am now a member of the Granite State Chapter having recently move to New England. I deployed three times to Central America, Africa, and SE Asia. I have worked at the Combatant Command, Air Force, Major Command and Wing levels. Additionally, I have worked with the Commemorative Air Force as a pilot and Safety Officer. I offer USAFA expertise in strategic planning, organizational structures, and continuous improvement. I have always strived to leave things better than I found them and I would do the same if elected.
Candidacy Statement
I would like the to serve Air Force Academy as a member of the Board of Directors.
I have previously served USAFA as an Admission Liaison Officer for 10 years, established the Blue Chili Chapter of the AOG, President/Vice President of the Tampa Chapter, and am currently a member of the Granite State Chapter.
I believe I possess the desired qualities of Board Members and will be able to attend required meetings of the board.
My guiding philosophy is to always leave things better than I found them. I believe that I will be able to best serve USAFA by bringing this to the Board. My experience in quality improvement, strategic planning, and connection to the Air Force as a retired officer, active AOG chapter member and current serving civilian will bring a unique perspective to the Board.
