Candidacy Statement
As a 1983 graduate, I am enthusiastic to seek reelection to the AOG Board of Directors. I have been a lifelong advocate of USAFA, served as the Operations Group Commander from 2001-2003, and currently, serve as the AOG BoD Chairman. I believe the board should work to nurture the relationship between the AOG and the Academy informing cadets how the AOG supports as a cadet and as a graduate, foster closer ties to the Air Force Academy Foundation, and streamline the donor solicitation process by bringing together the different donor requesting agencies under a single umbrella.
Over the past four years the AOG has accomplished a lot. Membership for all Graduates, a closer relationship with the Foundation, and assisting in the oversight of a single staff structure to better serve the needs of our membership are just a few. With your support, I would like to commit my energy and experience in service to you, our graduates, through membership on the board. We all share a common bond regardless of our class year, our career field or our length of service. The bond of the Long Blue Line unites us, and I request your support.
