Requirements Of The AOG Board Of Directors

An AOG Director must:

  1. Owe a duty of care and loyalty to the Association of Graduates and its members and must be dedicated to the AOG Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles.
  2. Attend all meetings of the AOG Board, and meetings of any committees to which he/she is assigned, and commit the time required to discharge Board and committee duties. The AOG shall not pay compensation to directors for services rendered as a director. Directors may be reimbursed for expenses incurred in the performance of their duties to the AOG in reasonable amounts approved by the Board.
  3. Perform their duties as a director, including without limitation their duties as a member of any committee of the Board, in good faith, and in the best interests of the Association.
  4. Operate in an open fashion and guide the AOG toward achieving its mission.
