Member Benefits & Services

The best reason to become a member of the Association of Graduates is to show your support for the U.S. Air Force Academy and the graduate community. But there are also some benefits beyond the feeling of contribution when signing up for membership.


These are the tangible benefits to members of the AOG:

iSABRD & SACC Career Services
As an added career service to AOG members, the AOG offers access to the iSABRD networking internet database as well as opportunities to attend Service Academy Career Conferences. iSABRD contains the names of nearly 33,500 service academy graduates who have specifically asked to be listed because they are willing to talk to you about careers in their field, in their location, and/or with their company. SACC is a job fair and career seminar exclusively for service academy graduates who are members of their respective alumni associations. SACC is held four times annually at different sites around the country.

Checkpoints Magazine Subscription
All AOG Members receive a subscription to the AOG quarterly publication Checkpoints, published in March, June, September and December each year. Checkpoints is an award-winning alumni magazine containing articles and photographs about the Academy, its cadets and its graduates, class notes, and “Gone But Not Forgotten.”

Colorado License Plate
Members who have their cars registered in Colorado may request a certificate from the AOG to enable them to have an Air Force Academy license plate on their vehicle.

Dependent Scholarships
The AOG offers scholarships for dependents of graduate members. The scholarships range from $500 to $2000. This program is only available to life members or any member who has held AOG membership for five or more consecutive years.

Email for Life
The AOG provides members with an "Email for Life" email forwarding service. This is an AOG email address that can be updated to forward email to an email address of the member's choice.

Golf Reservations
Academy graduates who are AOG Members but do not have a Department of Defense ID card may call AOG customer service at (719) 472-0300 to reserve a date and tee time at the Eisenhower Golf Course. A limited number of tee times are available.

Member Directory
AOG members can use the member directory to find other members in the AOG database.

Graduate Directory
AOG members can use the graduate directory to locate only graduates.

Register of Graduates
The Register of Graduates is currently available to members in printed and searchable electronic (.pdf) form.

Special Merchandise
The AOG offers members the opportunity to purchase Cadet-issue work-out shorts, T-shirts, sweat shirts, insignia, the Cadet Saber (graduate members only) and various other items. A new online store is being developed. Please call the AOG at (719) 472-0300 to order merchandise.

Saber Purchase
Graduate members may purchase cadet sabers. Call AOG customer service at (719) 472-0300 for more information.

Saber Rental
Graduate members may rent sabers for special occasions. Call AOG customer service at (719) 472-0300 for more information.

Tours
An AOG member may request a tour of the Cadet Area by calling AOG Customer Service at (719) 472-0300.
