Meet Your AOG: Emma Ross

Emma Ross, Alumni Affairs Event Coordinator

Name and Title: Emma Ross
Senior Alumni Affairs Event Coordinator

When did you start working for the AOG?
August 2010

What do you do to help AOG members? Reunion planning. This year I am working with the classes of 1962, 1977, 1982, and 1992.

Can you share a great customer service story or an example of AOG teamwork? An example of our teamwork is when everyone from all departments come together to make sure an event runs smoothly, whether it's on the front line or behind the scenes. One of the best times to witness our awesome AOG teamwork along with the Endowment is during Inprocessing.

Any tips or reminders for AOG members to get the most out of their membership? To keep their biographical information up to date. This way they are not missing out on news or events.

Do you have a favorite Air Force Academy moment, person, place, or memory? My best moment is when I had to work the Tuskegee Airmen Appreciation Dinner in 2011 and was able to meet/speak with two of the Tuskegee Airmen, James Randall and Randolph Edwards. To have the privilege to meet two gentlemen from a great part of our history was amazing.

Getting to know you better, when you're not at Doolittle Hall we can find you... cooking, hiking, I love to be outdoors and with my two furry friends, Mikey and Henri.
